Got Pain?

Sore Muscles Salve

pain salve

No longer are the days that you need to reach for Tylenol or Volteran for your sore muscles! Whip up a batch of this amazing salve and you will be set for months. This recipe makes a small mason jar (approx. 1.5cups) and will last you a long time.

What to use it for?

Sore muscles after a great workout, sore feet after a long day at work, cramps, sore joints… anything that needs a little relief! I love that this recipe contains no hormone disrupting, toxic chemicals or long term negative effects like most of the over the counter pain relievers these days!

What will I need?

Small mason jar

- 1.5tbsp beeswax

- 1.5tbsp cocoa butter

- 3tbsp coconut oil (until your jar is 5/6 full)

- 1tbsp cyanne pepper

- Balsam fir- 5 drops

- Peppermint- 10 drops

- Ginger (or use 1tsp ground ginger) 4 drops

- Marjoram- 5 drops

- Wintergreen- 10 drops

- Panaway- 15 drops

- Dragontime (Specifically for cramps) 10 drops

*For essential oils I only recommend Young Living, they are the purest and have their own farms! NO pesticides, beyond organic and you can actually go to the farms to see everything happen. Most other essential oil companies buy their oils then simply re-bottle them as their own. NO way of being in control of the soil, seed, distillation process etc.*
