DIY Face Balm

DIY Face Balm

Back when I first started in the business with Young Living, I would make products and sell them. I don’t do that anymore, BUT I still love to share my recipes!

By far the Face Balm was one of the most popular products. I change up the oils depending on the season or my skins needs, but this is the basic recipe I use.

This balm is great for people looking for something natural and cost effective. You can use this on sensitive skin and it suits most skin types.

Joy- 10 drops

I LOVE JOY. I wear this oil daily as my perfume, but oh man does it feel good on your skin! This is a blend exclusive to Young Living (The ONLY brand of essential oils I will use). In Joy there is: bergamot, lemon, palmarosa, ylang ylang, mandarin, rose, geranium, jasmine, Roman chamomile, coriander. These oils brighten up your skin while repairing it in the most gentle way. PLUS it makes your skin sooo soft!

Frankincense- 15 drops

Do yourself a favour, and google Frankincense skin benefits. Your mind will be blown! Frankincense is great for clearing up skin, lightening scars and working away at those fine lines. Again, google it… because that’s all I can say here :P

Purification- 10 drops

Hellllooooo clear skin. Purification is another exclusive blend to Young Living, and I WISH I had known about this one when I was a teenager! Purification is a blend of lemongrass, rosemary, melaleuca (tea tree oil), myrtle and citronella. This is a super star at fighting acne!

Watch the video below to see how to whip up your own batch (which lasts a while!). Hope your skin is as happy as mine, and be sure to tag me if you make some! Enjoy!
